2023 PhD research opportunity at AgriBio

Applications are now open for a PhD research project at AgriBio, the Centre for AgriBiosciences, located in Melbourne, Australia.

The project is focused on viruses associated with Agaricus mushrooms in Australia and aims to provide the mushroom industry and growers an understanding of both local and exotic disease threats.

Successful candidates will receive:

• A $35,000 p.a. (tax-free) scholarship for up to three and a half years
• Training in Australia’s first integrated agricultural systems biology research centre, AgriBio
• Professional development programs
• International travel opportunities

Successful applicants must meet the Australian University entry requirements for a Doctor of Philosophy degree.
