Nematode Workshop: Feb 2027
A comprehensive 5 day workshop, Nematodes in cropping systems: identification & techniques 2027, is scheduled for 2nd – 6th and / or 9th–13 February 2027 at the Australian National University in Canberra.
The workshop suits researchers and professionals working in agriculture, biosecurity, quarantine, green keeping, and soil biology, who need to understand the principles and practice of handling soil, plant and insect nematodes. It will provide hands-on experience in sampling, extraction, specimen preparation, culturing, diagnosis, and identification, with opportunity for interaction with experts in the field. Molecular methods will be discussed but not comprehensively covered.
The workshop will be conducted by:
