PRIVACY COLLECTION NOTICE

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (department) collects your personal information for the purposes of administering the National Plant Biosecurity Diagnostics Network and related purposes. This includes providing members access to the NPBDN website and distributing newsletters and email campaigns.

If you opt out of membership of the network, the department will be unable to communicate with you about network activities and to provide you with access to members only information on the NPBDN website.

The department may disclose your personal information to third party providers, the Subcommittee on Plant Health Diagnostics and its Network Implementation Network Working Group, and other Australian government agencies, persons or organisations where necessary for the above purposes provided the disclosure is consistent with relevant laws, in particular the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles and is unlikely to be disclosed overseas (unless you request to contact a member located overseas).
